Seriously.
Last night I had a dream that I kept spitting out my teeth. They just kept coming out on their own. I know: ponderous.
My sister was there and she didn't know what to do. Neither did anyone else. I just kept wandering around, spitting out teeth and then holding them in my hands. I looked in a mirror and all I had were huge gaps in my mouth where my beautiful pearly whites had once been.
I woke up afraid to feel inside my mouth.
I just looked up what this sort of dream is supposed to mean. Here it is:
"For one tooth to fall out, foretells disagreeable news; if two, it denotes unhappy states that the dreamer will be plunged into from no carelessness on his part. If three fall out, sickness and accidents of a very serious nature will follow."
I did not lose three teeth. I lost three ACTUAL ROWS of teeth.
I refuse to think that anything bad is on the way when all I feel is something great coming right around the corner. I think I just need a cleaning, that's all.
That's all, right?
2/27/08--UPDATE: Upon more careful contemplation, I realized that I was spitting out dentures, not just teeth. Spitting out dentures supposedly means I just need to relax. What else is new?
