An open letter to Michael Buble.

Dear Mr. Buble,

Hello. I hope this letter finds you well.
We don't know each other but I consider that a very small formality. Michael (may I call you Michael?), I want to tell you how much I really appreciate you and your music. Truly. I have been a fan for quite a while now and I love your lounge-y, old-school vibe...your laidback, throwback style. You are talented and charismatic and, dare I say it, a legend in the making. I think you are fantastic and your music brings me much, much joy, especially your song "Home". I heart it tremendously. It always makes me want to go, well, home.

Michael, I heard that you recently split from your girlfriend of three years, Miss Emily Blunt. Emily is quite lovely and I really enjoyed her in the role of "Emily" in The Devil Wears Prada, as I am sure you did, too. I am sorry that it didn't work out with her. I hope you are doing ok.

That said, I wanted to let you know that should you need someone, I am here. I mean, seriously, should you need a shoulder to cry on please feel free to look me up. I am a great listener. I can bring you comfort food and tell you how everything is going to be ok. Because it will. Life will move on, Michael, but we both know that it will take some time. A good, good block of time. And really, why not enjoy that time with, well, a new...friend?

It might be tempting, given the current state of your love life to, eh, get down on yourself. Think it was all you. Throw in the towel a little bit. Don't. Not one bit. Don't get down. And don't be by yourself. Because, really, what fun is there in being alone?

M.B., just think about it: You. Me. Some sweet, sweet harmonies together? The offer is there.

You are tasty. I mean, if your level of tastiness were a dessert, you'd be chocolate mousse. Better yet, you'd be chocolate mousse served in a dish of sexy surrounded by a platter of hmm, hmm, hmm.

I'm getting ahead of myself. Just know that I'm here.

Sincerely,
Me
